25 November: Validation of potato discrimination (good or with black (bad) spots). Artificial intelligence based on neural networks works very well. Thanks to Ludovic Mazaud and Laetitia Garnier for their collaboration, their listening skills and their welcome (SICK France).

28 November : New mechanical guidelines

Study underway to validate the mechanical design of the project (29 november).

8 December: validation of connections to the database management system with OPC DA and OPC UA.

19 December, validation of V4 solution.

With the start of the new academic year at the University in January, our project team has a new and important partner (CFA des Universités Centre-Val de Loire). Thank you for your trust. Others should arrive in the next few days.

February 8, receipt of a mechanical part for our project.

We are very happy that the Centre-Val de Loire Region is joining our project and this beautiful adventure. Together, we will be even stronger.

March 3: Launch of tests with the database management system (Raspberry Pi).

March 7, the basket of material arrived from our partner PHOENIX CONTACT. We also purchased a compressor to supply our system with compressed air.

March 15: The work is launched full time. The integration of the technical solution with the various materials is progressing. We will meet the deadlines. The project group is highly motivated.

March 20, 2023. The system is beginning to take shape as planned. The mechanical and electrical components correspond to the preliminary study and decisions.

March 25, 2023: Manufacturing of the support for the operator console (Human / Machine interface). We are going to respect the forecasted planning initially imagined.

April 7, 2023: delivery of the project with its functionalities.

April 17 and 18, editing of the video clip that will present the project. This video is very interesting and shows the totality of the issues devoted to the project. Thanks to Thierry Larigauderie (audio-visual technician of the IUT) for the conception of the video clip. On the way to the final!

Over 100 teams from 5 continents were competing. 5 categories: Smart Technology, Education, Environment, Smart Energy, Social & Heath. In our category: UAE, Argentina, USA (x2), Chile, France.

25 teams have been invited to the famous Final!

The team is in place to go as far as possible. Anything is possible.

A fascinating discussion with Frank Stührenberg and Klaus Hengsbach. 

We're delighted to be on the podium in the environment category. In 3rd place, we showcased our knowledge and skills in front of other teams from all over the world. The theme of water and its management was very popular this year. 100 teams started, 25 reached the final and 15 podium finishes in 5 categories.

A wonderful story comes to an end as we see the students fly off into the professional world. Thank you for your faultless organisation.
